The Initiative Science 10,000 x 2010 Project
Initiative Science was founded in 2001 at UM-Dearborn. In its first year, the organization engaged a modest 50 participants. Today, 2,500+ students, teachers and staff members from educational institutions throughout metro Detroit and Toledo, partake in the innovative programming. Additionally, I.S. provides internships for students who have science degrees and would like to contribute to advancing interdisciplinary initiatives related to their field.
